Just some BFFs

In 2011 we stretched ourselves thin and bought a 40-acre slice of mountain farmland. It might very well be the center of the universe. But what’s a center? I’m getting ahead of myself.

We like the Blue Ridge. We like hiking, biking, fly fishing, building things, and mostly just enjoying nature while drinking beer with the people we love. Which is largely each other. And, as often as possible, we like not being close to anything of economic or social significance. So this little slice of pine and pasture in the Blue Ridge foothills felt just right. We built a cabin, started eco-farming, had a couple of annual parties that have turned into celebrations of everything that’s great. Believe it or not, we’re building that into a business. One that’s focused on sustainable agriculture, conservation (ask us about our conservation easements), outdoor recreation, and an annual festival. And now we’re opening those experiences up to like-minded folks. Come stay here by yourself or with a loved one. Hike, ski, fish, camp, visit breweries and wineries, see the best this beautiful Commonwealth has to offer. Or plan a corporate retreat. If you’re not a Karen, you can get married here. Billy’s an ordained minister, don’t let him tell you otherwise. We bought this land but it’s weird to conceptualize owning nature. So we invite you to come and check out the humble mountain farm. Unless you’re a bear hunter. Or a Karen. But we covered that earlier so why beat a dead horse? Otherwise, give us a ring. We think you’ll have fun here too.
